The first tip is to keep track. You can always check with your cell phone provider daily or just sign up at overmyminutes.com. It’s free and you’ll receive an e-mail or text message to let you know when you’re about to run out of minutes.
What if there’s no problem with your cell bill, except that’s it’s just too much? Call your cell phone provider because it can’t hurt.
“I was paying about $ 220 a month, and now I’ll be paying about $ 175 a month. I’m actually getting more data now for less,” said Indianapolis resident Julia Phillips. “I’m getting 15 gigs of data usage, shared with my daughter. And also the $ 30 per line that I was paying has been cut in half.”
